Bisaya
April 5th, 2008 by bigtombowskiHi again, it’s Tom here …
It’s no secret that I am trying to learn bisaya - very slowly! I just want to be able to speak to my honey in her language as she speaks to me in English, and i want to be able to communicate with her family - parents and brothers, and also to the Bayawanons in bisaya!
i would like to ask a favour from all my bisaya speaking barakadas on here …
Could you comment on here and tell me the best bisaya phrases to learn? Not just textbook phrases … but even words like the locals use, and real expressions that people say?
Thank you so much
Daghan salamat!

Psalm
Forwarded Messages
March 27th, 2008 by bigtombowskiI would just like to say, if you send me a message that is a forward, with a guilt trip telling me that Jesus will curse me if i don’t forward the message back to you, or that i’ll be blessed if only I hit the reply button, or some such superstitious mumbo - jumbo, please don’t be offended if i don’t reply.
It’s just that I happen to believe that Jesus death is not efficacious because I reply to an unsolicited email. He would have died for me even if i don’t let you see something with "FW:warm cuddle mail" in your inbox.
In summary …
if you don’t get your forward back, and you are my friend, I STILL LIKE YOU
thanks for now,
ingatz!
